As Senior Construction Manager at ProBuild360, Michael Parinchy is a leading voice in the evolution of the UK construction industry.

Not only is Michael Chair of the NFB’s House Builders Association, but his hands-on technical expertise is helping to shape a more collaborative, sustainable, and forward-thinking built environment – one project at a time.

Michael’s route into construction was unconventional. Initially studying Law and Psychology, and later Law with Business Studies at the University of Birmingham, he eventually shifted focus to construction – a decision driven by a longstanding passion for the built environment. That pivot marked the beginning of a career built on adaptability, continuous learning, and a deep understanding of both the human and technical sides of construction delivery.

His early career saw him working on major housing developments with Bovis Homes and Cala Homes, managing projects of up to 300 units. These experiences grounded him in the realities of large-scale residential construction, from regulatory compliance to contractor coordination and customer handover. He later broadened his expertise to include urban apartment blocks, retail parks, structural steel buildings, and bespoke design-and-build solutions – establishing a diverse project portfolio across the Midlands.

Returning to ProBuild360, the family-founded business, Michael played a key role in the company’s continued evolution. Working alongside a strong leadership team, he helped modernise internal structures, refine project delivery processes, and support the expansion of its service offering.

Today, ProBuild360 operates as an award-winning fully integrated design-and-build firm, with a bespoke client showroom. The company is widely recognised for its work in residential improvements, extensions, renovations, and new-build developments.

Michael’s work goes far beyond operational management. He is a passionate advocate for raising standards across the construction sector. As Chairman of the House Builders Association (HBA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), he contributes to strategic discussions around skills shortages, housing policy, and the role of SMEs in delivering modern homes. His voice is often heard in industry forums and publications, where he champions innovation, transparency, and ethical business practices.

He is particularly passionate about sustainability and education. Michael has spearheaded collaborative research initiatives through Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) with Birmingham City University and InnovateUK, focused on developing sustainable construction methods and smarter housing solutions. These partnerships are enabling new thinking in areas such as MMC (Modern Methods of Construction), low-carbon design, and whole-life cost optimisation – topics he regularly explores on The Onsite Podcast, where he shares insights with industry leaders and changemakers.

His leadership style is firmly rooted in collaborative empowerment. He believes success is achieved by aligning teams around shared goals, investing in people, and promoting open dialogue across all project stakeholders – from clients to site operatives. His ethos is simple yet powerful: build trust through transparency, deliver quality with precision, and always look for opportunities to improve.

In 2025, Michael’s achievements were formally recognised when he was awarded Young Business Person of the Year at the Signature Awards. The honour reflected not just his professional success, but also his growing influence as a thought leader in a traditionally conservative industry. His work – spanning complex renovations, urban regeneration, and greenfield residential schemes – has become a blueprint for how modern construction firms can adapt and thrive in a changing market.

Looking ahead, Michael’s ambition is to continue inspiring innovation and collaboration in construction. He aims to leave a legacy defined not only by high-quality buildings but also by a more efficient, inclusive, and environmentally responsible industry. Whether leading on-site teams or shaping national policy conversations, Michael Parinchy remains dedicated to creating structures – and systems – that stand the test of time.
